Hey I'm writing this review cause I got a request on it
First of all Runescape is a Brower MMORPG It has been around for a pretty long time and I started to play it when I was 11 years old. I played it for quite some time and i recently started with it again , but I also quitted agian haha.
Runescape is a game that you can play forever because it has so many skills , I will try to tell you about all skills so prepare for a long reading .
I'll start out with my personal thoughts about this game. Well first of all this game doesn't have the best graphics but still you can get really sucked into this game. you always have lots to do and that's even when you are a free player , if you are a member then you will have heaps more quest and skills to train. I think this game is a pretty good one to be honest , I will never play this game as I did before though . You do not only level your "combat Level" but you also level your total level wich includes all the skills that you have . I was level 74 in combat and I think that max level is 132 something . And in total level I was near 900 and That's not even close to the max level of it. If I'd have to rate this game from 1-10 I'd give it a 6 becuase you always have something to do , but the thing I miss is the PvP , you can PvP but it's only at some areas and since I love PvP this game isn't for me.
Alright so now I'll tell you short about the skills in this game. Well to begin with skills here aren't as in other games , These skills aren't attack spells and shit , these skills are let's say Life skills you will see what I mean.
Combat skills:
Strenght : you need strenght to equip some items , and it increases ur damage a bit.
Attack: You need attack to equip weapons.
Defense: You need defense to equip Shields / armor.
Prayer: You need prayer to get buffs . (important skill)
Constitution: This skill gives you more HP
Magic: This skill is if you want to me a magic user obviously. (need magic to equip magic gear)
Ranged: This skill is if you want to be a ranged fighter. (need ranged to equip ranged gear)
Summoning (member) This is a member skill , It allows you to summon monsters to help you out.
Free skills :
Fishing: The higher level the better fish you can get. (fish = Food = Hp Pots)
Woodcutting: The higher level the better wood you'll get . (wood=fire=Food)
Firemaking: You need firemaking to be able to make fire out of wood.
Cooking: You need cooking to be able to cook different stuff , The higher level the better food you'll get.
Mining: This skill lets you get different ores that you can melt into Ex: Steel bars Iron Bars.
Blacksmithing: This skill allows you to make the different bars into weapons/armor.
Crafting: This skills allows you create like leather armor and cut jewels and stuff like that.
Runecrafting: This skill allows you to make different runes Ex: Firerunes (runes are like mana in other games , you need for example 1 fire rune to cast a small fire ball).
Dungeoneering: This skill allows you to enter different dungeons in the game.
Member skills:
Agility: This skill allows you to take some shortcuts in the game.
Thieving: This skill allows you to Pickpocket npc's in the game.
Farming : This skill allows you to grow stuff Ex: Fruit, trees , herbs.
Construction: This skill allows you to make a house and construct different things like Altars , chairs and lots more.
Fletching; This skill allos you to fletch your own arrows. wich is cheaper than buying them.
Slayer: This skill allows you to slay some monsters that you can't slay without x levels at slayer.
Herblore: This skill allows you to pick up herbs and make potions from thoes herbs.
Hunter: This skill allows you to hunt animals. wich you can use as food.
I think that's about all the skills in the game . All the skills has the max level 99 exept dungeoneering that has a max level of 120. And belive me it's a pain to level all of them . I do not have a singel skill at level 99 yet. You also need the skills to complete quests.
So this was my review about this game. I hope it helped a bit anyhow.
So if you dont have anything to do , why dont you give runescape a try , who knows you might just like it!.
